What is the Delight Scale?
The Delight Scale combines a standard set of questions spanning recommendation, satisfaction, sentiment, loyalty, and value into one weighted product-experience score.
The Delight Scale can be used internally to improve products, address shortcomings, leverage strengths, retarget an addressable market, and improve messaging and advertising. Externally, it offers a rich marketing tool to position products against competitors.
Great products go beyond satisfying customers. They contain elements of surprise and delight. They are talked about. They inspire loyalty and engagement.
Each question in the methodology is worth a set number of points based on the respondent’s answer. Those points are aggregated into the product’s Delight Score and weighted toward responses with higher positive sentiment.
